• Is my RR1 Electric Blue?

This should be arriving on Thursday. I think someone said it's called electric blue. Does that sound right?

In my bluebook it stands right next to "fuckin' kickass" blue.

    Congrats!

First off, that is just beautiful! I'm not sure what the official name for the color is, but I always thought it was "Ice Blue" for the metallic shade lighter than Cobalt. When I think of Electric Blue, I picture a non-metallic color similar to this, but maybe a little brighter.

My first RR1 was that exact same color. I loved it and it is still one of my favorite colors.

Very nice! Since it's a metallic, it's either Electric Blue Metallic or Candy Apple Blue.

That looks like the same color as my soloist. The serial number log calls it sky blue metal flake, but it's like five years older and probably not the official name.

Re: Is my RR1 Electric Blue?

I have a pile of 2003 catalogs, and what they call electric blue in there looks very similar, but it's hard to compare a tiny smaple in a catalog to a bunch of Ebay pics that could be way off. I guess I can tell for sure when it arrives.

I don'e think its an electric blue or a candy apple blue. I do think is an Ice Blue.

No, Ice Blue is lighter. And Jackson doesn't offer that color anyway.

that's electric blue...ice blue is a few shades lighter and can almost look gray in the right light...d.m.

                            Zeegler,

Your looks like a hell of a lot better deal than the one currently listed on the bay, although I like that color (cobalt blue) better.
