Newest Score - SL2S (pics) !!!!

I've been GASing for a dinky/soloist for quite some time. I thought about buying a COW6, SLSMG or a DKMG/DXMG. until i found this in a local auction web..
Just bought this today..s/n UO4277 and couldnt stop playing it!!
A jackson Sl2S i believe. Dark metallic red, matching headstock, bound neck (black), EMG81/85 pickup, with OHSC - $550 USD.

theres a tiny scratch near the jack area. at the back there are some serious scratches, but it doesnt really matter. the 4th pic shows the lacquer layer coming off - my friend said its alright that it doesnt affect the playability. are there ways to deal with it?
anyways, this thing plays like a dream. i totally love the neck. thin, low action. Needs a bit of setup and fret cleaning.
For some reasons... i like this more than my RR1. I think my RR1 seriously needs a professional setup.

Nice Score! You'll like the ebony board! Lacquer coming off? Where on the neck? If it's coming off at the maple back ebony interface or the ebony I wouldn't worry about it. Is it just the clear coat? The finish is most likely a Poly Urethane paint and not Lacquer. Nice addition [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

yeah an OFR will normally easily replace a 580

Great score [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I love the ones without any inlays a bit more [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] For me if a guitar has sharkfin inlays, it should also have binding of the same colur or something similar [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
