I had to change the bridge pickup to an old Duncan JB. The original sounded weak although I normally love Jackson pickups. The neck pickup was fine. I put a 11-49 set on the guitar and it's really coming alive. Wonderful neck shape and killer sound. There is still some fret buzz here and there but I will give it some time to get used to the new climate before I start adjusting the truss rod.

It screams Megadeth and already made new friends here...

The black one is a custom from 1985 and the silver one is a custom from 2001 ordered to Mustaine specs. More info here:
