• Polka anyone?

This arrived yesterday: (some of you will love it, some will hate it!)

It's a 1990 and came with a letter of authentication from Jackson. Sorry that the pics aren't great as the weather wasn't fantastic, so they'll have to do for now. I love this guitar - it's one of those that instantly feels like home! The neck is really like an SD Charvel pointy, and it's gone that amazing honey colour from use!

Wow, that's pretty fabolus! I think the maple neck works pretty well. It's kind of like Buddy Guy's? strat.

Sweet guitar, congrats. I'm very surprised Brett let that one go. Enjoy it!

That is a killer finish, I love that so much better than the white with black dots. Congrats Ian -

That is very cool for an '80s guitar! (like I should talk!)

Absolutely. There is nothing to hate on that one! Maple board, H-S config, reverse head, polka dots....

Man, I could go on; it's just awesome!

Thanks for the comments guys - for those who were wondering, yep, I did buy it from Brett. Now I've just got to pry the Koa soloist and the Friedman explorer out of his hands!!

I like the graphic and the pickup layout is perfect for a Strat. Congrats again Ian!

The only thing I don't like about this guitar is so small is barely worth mentioning, but anyway here I go!:

I wish they'd put the volume pot and the switch exactly in one of the dots - I realise they're in the standard position, but they'd only have to be moved an inch or so, and it would look a lot sleeker and IMO they wouldn't be any more difficult to get to.....
