Quick... should I get?!

Found a nice little gem out of the corner of my eye in a Bay Area used guitar shop.

Black RR2
Bolt on neck
no pick guard(looked as if it never came with it.)
Serial number 004184

Off the jackson site, I found this...
1997 Ontario 003371-004676 which is consistant with the neck plate.

Selling for $399.00 needs a little bit of neck work (Slightly bowed, fret buzz, good frets) nothing a little truss rod tweeking might fix... if not, got a guy that can handle it.

What ya think? reason for the urgancy, they don't hold and I don't want to miss out if it is a steal. Sorry for no photos, did have the camera with me.

I scored a NOS RR-2 a few years back for $399 at a Guitar Center clearance sale. Up until then, they had refused to budge on the listed $899 price...for over four years.

Some people don't like the trem, pickups (Kent Armstrong JP-10/11 set) or bolt-on neck, but I like mine a lot. For $399, it beats any of the current imports.

That is definitely a great price. But they don't sell for much. I had trouble selling one for $499 iirc, several years back. Great USA guitar, but at an import price. how can you go wrong?
