• Family just got a little bigger...

Just picked this 1997 RR2. Black as night, no inlays, simple and clean.

The Fender is on vacation at the office.... But, it fits well with the rest of the family

Now, time to restore the custom Kramer in the garage...

I think that RR2 would look killer with a chrome or brushed control plate. Love the no-inlay FB!
              Good looking family!

Hell, go completely origional and give a heat treated copper one. Rainbow of metal...

Thanks for the comments BTW. The blue jackson is a unnumbered San Dimas something or other archtop from 1985. I never got a official from JCMarketing guy about the actual year or model or what the history was. I just accept that I love the thing and it has some history behind it =)

You know.. This is the first time I have ever played a V. This is a damn fun guitar to play while standing up. All the kids should have one . I can hardly wait tell I deliver and get this thing back from my guitar guy. He will have this thing playing like a dream in a snap.

nice axe for sure, but that fretboard looks in dire need of some lemon oil and a good scrubbing!
                      congrats on the score though!

I concur, although it takes a bit of time to get used to how a V hangs differently on the body than a strat-type guitar, a V is really fun to play standing up once you get used to it.

I just got a RR1 Bengal Yellow and it's in the shop too for the initial once-over treatment. So I know exactly how you feel
