My SLATQH came today and I couldn't be happier with it. These necks are like magic. The whole body and neck resonates like a living thing as I play it like my LP does. Came out of the box from the dealer still in tune and properly intonated. Action is as low as tune-o-matic can go, no buzz. I like these pickups so far. I've followed the thread in the "ask jackson" section about pickups and I know this combo is not universally adored but I have no criticism for them right now. I didn't buy it for this but the guitar can do a decent impression of the Gibson sound clean if you want it too. These guitars are flat out outstanding. I love the finish, colors are just like a real fire. It's 'gonna be a long night.

I love all my children equally of course
I'll have to let you know in time but I can already see that the Jackson is easier to play fast lead stuff on, this neck is incredible. The LP has a clean sound using both pickups to die for when playing blues or jazzy sort of things. It barged into the picture because it was getting jealous of all the attention the Jack was getting. Re: just joined the ranks
thanks for the compliments guys. Besides exhibitionism, I also show and mention the LP at the same time because I think the SLATQH might appeal to the same players that like LPs (like me) . I found this forum very helpful when deciding about SLATQH vs the SL2H and SL2HT that I also looked at.
