I bought the guitar from a Finnish store after someone posted the link on my website forum. Apparently they weren't aware of the Roope connection. Once I saw the serial and that it was sequential to Jiri's RR I ordered the guitar and then did some research. You can imagine how great it was to find out that it was indeed Roope's old RR like I guessed.

the pic I have of roope playing his yellow RR, and the pic of roope's yellow RR on the scythes of bodom Roope section show the guitar with a single coil at the neck, as well as his Matte Black/iommi cross RR.

the gold floyd on the black/yellow RR was also in alot worse cosmetic shape

did this thing get alot of work done?

Hasn't Jiri's RR2074 guitar been sold as well? I seem to recall having seen it on the Jackson Guitar Palace. Strange thing is that the current owner stated that it had belonged to Roope instead of Jiri.

[/ QUOTE ]They are two different guitars. The one you have seen on the Scythes Of Bodom website is a 24-fret model. Roope still owns that guitar; in fact, I have several photos of him using it live with Children of Bodom.

oh damn ok. i didnt realize this one that Jani just got was 22 frets. I just assume 24 frets when i see single hum rhoads :P
