Is that a rear mounted floyd nut i see? Also strange that roope had a painted neck on it, i'm guessing he decided he didnt like painted necks and switched to oiled for his next custom

Here are some more action pics of Roope with the guitar. Just checked some footage from October 1988 and he still used this guitar at that point. It's also on the video Real Delusion and Overtake which also has the white RR on it.







And yes it has an old style FR locking nut.

One thing I need to point out is that back in the mid 80s Roope was like 15 years old. Jackson Guitars had been around for only 2-3 years but never available in Finland before. There was no internet or emails etc. I guess basically they didn't even know what custom options were available let alone never tried any. They also didn't have much money. LOL!
Stone's first album came out in 1988. So in 1987 Roope was just another young guitarists trying to get a band going. Today he is a legend in Finland. It's so cool that he still chooses to play Jacksons even with the ESP endorsement. [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

on this latest bodom tour, roope only plays ESPs. hes got 2 random stars. but im sure that he prefers his jacksons still.

yeah it does, but im sure it has something to do with the ESP endorsement. they probably didn't like seeing pictures all over the net of roope still playing his jacksons on tour after ESP started endorsing him.

Also, does anyone know where I might be able to get an original copy of the Latvala Bros. - Plays Wooden Eye album? I can buy all of the Stone ones online quite easily but I can't find the Latvala Bros one ANYWHERE. :/

only 400 copies of Latvala Bros. plays Wooden Eye were printed, or so says Roope when I got him to autograph my copy. I got my copy from ebay. I havent seen one on there since then, and I check every few days just because im obsessed.
