Matt says it was like that when he got it. It' pretty easy to do really. Fill the screw holes for the Kahler (it's a flat mount) and drill post holes for the TOM & tailpiece.

Is his the guitar used in either Seasons in the Abyss video or Dittohead? i can't remember which.

No, I never had it. As I said in a previous post, the swap was done sometime before Buzzsaw got the guitar. The pic of the white King V on the first page is the one we're talking about. I wouldn't have done the swap myself, as I really don't mind the fixed Kahlers at all. However I prefer tunomatics, so it's all good.

In fact, I just picked up the guitar from my P.O. Box, and it plays great. It was still in perfect tune when I took it out of the case. The finish is a little rough, and you can see where the blade switch was filled, but the black spray paint and Kerry King autograph should come off easily. I already have a black brdige and tailpiece on the way for it, and a pair of black dome knobs. I'm not sure if I like the EMGs yet. I'll have to see if they grow on me because they didn't sound particularly inspiring when I first plugged it in. I may have to go with a Custom/Jazz combo instead. We shall see. I'm going to contact the painter tomorrow, and send him the jpeg of the green lightning to see what he thinks. It's going to suck waiting for this while it's away getting painted.
