Was thumbing through an old Guitar One mag from April '97 that I found in my basement, and I saw this. Gotta love the JJP... I kinda miss my old black one.

Joey Z has a nice punch of Jackson Custom LPs. Check out the Jackson website CS archives. I don't think any other artist had that many LPs. I recall seeing at least 3 different ones.
Yeah, I've seen Joey's full size LPs... very cool! I thought I remembered Kevin Easton or somebody saying Joey started off with the JJP, but I couldn't ever remember seeing him with one.

That is a pretty cool pic. I think he switched to Gibsons and PRS's though, at least that is what I thought I saw him with the last time I saw LOA play. Which is sad, since he had some pretty sweet Jacksons.
well sure; he was in a band called "life of agony!" it can't be all smiles, gumdrops, and butterfly farts, dude!

When I google "Jackson JJP" this JCF forum is really the only info I can come up with. Fender has no archives what so ever. Anyone know anything about these guitars?
Well, the guys above who have owned one at one time would know better, but IIRC they're bolt-on 24 3/4" scale 1 HB with a Dimarzio Distortion that came in black and the above color.
