Your 5FX had that? Strange. [img]/images/graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img] My Model 5A didn't have it. Some of the 5As did get sent back to the factory and have the single coil neck pup added to become the 5FX, and some also got added tone controls. I guess maybe they could have added the route for pull-ups on some, too.
