Love the 2 SL1's you've got there, all nice
but those 2 just plain kick ass!
Are the neck shapes the same on them?
I've got a 2001 SL2H and the neck on it is chunkier than
any other soloist I've ever played.
I've always wondered if it was a by year thing or if mine is just a one off?

i didn't notice a difference in the necks of the SL1's. i'm out of town right now and can't compare them but i don't recall a difference.

Yes, the necks are different. My 1993 Archtop has a thin neck, like the speed neck. Jack.
