Funny, didn't need frets when I sold it to you. I played that guitar a lot too for many live shows, never had those problems. Must be the lack of humidity up there in VA...

virginia beach its probably nearly as humid as most parts of florida. 81% right now

If you want to do the fret job right, you really need to level the board. Many C/J's I've refretted have had humps in the board.
