good god ... that is beautiful. The sneek peek shots from the Jackson gallery looked good but the finished product ... wow!
I also love the maple and abalone combo for your neck. A perfect choice for the guitar.

I don't know how you dealt with the wait. That is a long time but the results speak volumes.
If it plays and sounds HALF as good as it looks you should be thrilled. [img]/images/graemlins/notworthy.gif[/img]

Jack I can only hope my custom looks that good when it finally arrives. Truly a masterpiece on both your part and the custom shop's part. They built it but you came up with the perfect design and a custom shop guitar is only partly as good as the concept behind it, particularly with a unique one such as this. That makes two monster guitars that have landed to forum members this month. That insane Anarchy Spalt V and now your Napalm Bengal. Take good care of her Jack, that one is a truely remarkable guitar.

The headstock thing doesn't bother you at all? I ask that as a straight up question because they did a fantastic job but it would still bug me to see that "almost" strat headstock on a guitar that otherwise is so dead on perfect and yet incredibly unique.

I didn't want a pointed headstock and this was what was offered without me designing my own. I looked at going the GMW route but they wouldn't do a 24 fret bolt on. I really don't mind the headstock at all. I like my PC3 and play the hell of it with that headstock. Would it look cooler with a Starhead? Yes but it's not a requirement for great guitar.

Now if they do offer Stratheads at some poing I may consider ordering another one.

Ah see thats cool, for me personally though if they do offer the strathead option it would always bug me after ya know the "if only I had waited" stuff. But if its not a big deal to you then thats all that really matters. It doesn't really look bad. I was never one who hated that headstock anyways. In fact one of my dream guitars is still a Charvel San Dimas Reissue IV in Emerald Green. Like 4 years ago I saw a koa one in trans green with gold hardware, no money at the time and that guitar has haunted my dreams ever since. Headstock be damned.
