<font color="aqua"> Well thanks to Joel Drabicki this little puppy made it safely to my home today. It's an '88 archtop with the JT6 trem (which is like brand friggin new!), JE 1000 Preamp (2/9-volts), and an unbelievable fretboard. I believe it's bubinga and it's one of the nicest feeling boards I've played. As you can see in the pics below it has the pearl logo which is kind of unusual considering it's a student model. Usually the pearl logos were reserved for the custom models that had the shark inlays.
Also, it's funny how when photographed in the stand, the flame isn't as pronounced as when you take a shot of it from the forearm bout (shot laying on the floor). All in all this is an amazing instrument that is actually 2 lbs. heavier than JA0003 but yet has the route for the floyd ?!?
Once again, I'd like thank Joel for a tremendous packing job and a great deal the whole way around. You're the best, my friend -
PICS!!
Also, a shot of the siblings:
