I will say this, I have bought several guitars from Scott a Vwall.. and his service cannot be beat. I have never bought anything from matt, so I cannot compare, but Scott is a Helluva good guy and has great pricing

Really? Where? Maybe if one of the dealers is having a blowout or something. This guitar lists for $2599 so $1499 is 42% off list - the typical discounts I get quoted from various dealers are between 30 and 40% off list.

Even as a blem it should still carry the warranty and he can't find anything wrong with it so unless a dealer is blowing one out it's not worth the return hassle and rolling the dice with shipping and what not.

I dought it`s the Inlay. I bought a 2002 or3 SL2H new and it had one of those, I think that is just the nature of MOP sometimes. Jack.

Many companies also sell their "returns" as Blem becasue it saves them the effort of having to scrutinize the guitar... It´s quite possible that the guitar was pre-owned....

funny you should say that, because i notice this in the uk (well, where i live anyway). i found the following to be rather insulting: the rrp on a brand new dk2 in asb is £449. it's donkey's years old. a local retailer buys it in for an aledgedly decent price for the seller. it's not even mint, the colour looks worn and dull, and there's discrepancies with the electronics/controls. the moron who did the trade put a £600 tag on it and called it a soloist [img]/images/graemlins/what.gif[/img]. when i told them what it really was, they put a £400 price tag on it. [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] idiots or two-faced pigs? you decide. i'm not saying your local shop was a dodgy place, but i trust no-one when it comes to second hand guitars. it's brand new or bust for me. [img]/images/graemlins/rant.gif[/img]

Actually you and the other guy are wrong. I've checked with all my local dealers (again) and with Matt's Music and Vwall guitars and I can't get one for less or the same price. [img]/images/graemlins/nono.gif[/img]
