Re: speaking of blemishes!!
My original first charvel(San Dimas strat) has some battle scars. I have tried to keep it in good condition through the years(I've owned it since I was 15, I am now 35).
The firecrackle 3DR I recently won on ebay is in good shape, but has a chip or two in the finish....to be expected.
A black 3DR I bought is nice, but with a lot of pick area scratches. The nicest condition axe I have is a pearl predator. The thing is perfect save for a small crack near the bottom neck joint. And it's an '89 or '90.
My soon to be arriving '06 san dimas candy blue strat will be treated like a ferrari
