Whether new or used I still can't stand that Sears headstock. Even after many years it still hasn't grown on me. I even passed up a brand new PC1 at a guitar show several years ago for $900 because of that headstock. Anyway, used definetly saves you money, new gets you the warranty which I suppose is handy if there are concerns about the Sustainer.
