• selling USA select for a custom shop...

I already considered selling my current RR1 and getting a Stars, but they couldn't make the one I wanted, so now I'm considering getting it from the custom shop. The only thing is I'd have to sell the RR1 and Soloist. Figured I'd see if you guys think it would be worth it or not. Getting the custom shop RR would kind of fill in for both guitar since it would have 24 frets and an RR shape, so that's why I'm having trouble deciding, and the fact that I like having both, not to mention the waiting period for them to make it.

Haha, I suppose I'm predictable because of the name, but yeah, pretty much the same as you said, but I like the green pinstripes more.

I really wish they would just make RR's with 24 frets, then people who want them with 24 would have them and the ones who only want 22 can ignore the top 2. And how hard could it be to make them with different colored pinstripes or bevels?

Thanks for the link. I've been interested in that Stars copy for a while, but it's overpriced and wouldn't end up being cheaper after shipping than a USA one. However, that ESP Laiho model is a really nice price, though not my favorite finish out of the ones they offer. I am a bit curious about it, but I'm not really into ESP's.

Keep what you have. Not that a custom Rhoads wouldn't be a great guitar, but you'd basically be selling two nice USA guitars for one nice USA guitar. If you really want a custom Rhoads, save up enough that you could afford by selling only the current RR1 and keeping the Soloist.

Yeah, I saw that post. I'm confused if the run is yellow bevels or green pinstripes?

I know it´s a joke, but it´s actually nowhere near that easy, as moving the neck pu closer to the bridge by adding 2 more frets changes the tone of the neck pickup, I personally don´t like the extra clarity...

Where´s the confusion?? Green pinstripes was never even a topic while specing it out, and the work order clearly says "Black w/ Yellow Bevels"
