I've owned Jackson floyd guitars (2 SL2H's, 1 RR1).
I also owned a couple SL2HT string thru's.

Since kahler had gone away I was forced to use Floyds.
They are great trems and work well when set up properly.
I'd have no problem using them on all my guitars.....
but once you go Kahler there is no going back.
Now that Kahler is back in business I plan on reloading with kahler trem guitars.

Kahlers sell very well when based on an artist guitar Jeff H. Kerry King, Jerry Cantrell Dave Mustaine they dont sell well on ones not used by artists like explorers warriors firebirds traditional strats.

and did someone mention Kerry King Vs with Kahlers.

You know its funny I was about to custom order two Jacksons exactley like that except with urban camo and the deaths head camo, Jackson insisted on their camo pattern which sucks and refused to do the inlays because they said ESP owns the rights to Eagles, SS'ss and deathsheads so I ended up backing out and they wanted an arm and a leg for the specs with no inlays and the custom graphics.
In other words I am out but I can fax you my quote forms.

When I was at BC Rich, we offered a Kerry King Signature model KKV with both ways - a Kahler or a Floyd. The Floyd version outsold the Kahler version by a LARGE margin.

I think you are talking about the cheesey imports(dont get offened by this remark I always say it) When it comes to high value big ticket USA or ESP Custom Shop guitars I have seen for a fact the Kahler guitars sell for way more if its artist spec.

Yes... the cheaper versions with the floyds would outsell the higher end guitars because the cheaper versions is all that MF, Music 123, Sam Ash etc carry.

They dont sell many high end BC Rich Kerry Kings like this one:



Those cheap BC Rich with the floyds and license floyds and the cheesy starter pack kerry kings would definately outsell a true BC Rich Kerry King with a Kahler.

Cool! I take it all back! [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] I tried to get a Slayer trib going out here in LA, but my guitarist moved to another county (AK47, he has a Kerry crackle V just like yours) and my drummer got hired away by Hirax.

I'm also friends w/ Sara and the original gals of Maidens.
