Have some question
One guy sell KV-1 on ebay and wrote this guitar was made in Japan,but I am always think KV-1 is only USA made.
Who is wrong he or me? [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

KV-1 Jackson´s are made in USA. This is a Dave Mustaine signature series KV which is almost the same as USA made KV-1. This auction KV is made in Japan.

No, the newbie is wrong. Nowhere in the auction is this guitar described as "KV-1". Model is actually "King V Pro" and the s/n dates it to 1993. Seller apparently has done his homework, although I note at least one minor error ("This is a late 90's (1993-96)"). Also, the knobs are not stock. Other than that, a great guitar that is rising in value.

Anytime you see a neckthrough Jackson with that type of serial number (J followed by 6 numbers) it's Japanese-made.

I also hear that serial by U starts by made of USA and
J is made in Japan.

Yep, at least if it´s a Pre 1990 neckthru and not a Rhoads (those had RR numbers) [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
