hey everyone, just wanted to share some pics of my kelly....i got it in '98, and its been sitting in its case pretty much ever since. my crappy pics dont do the wood justice.....its really a beautiful instrument.

thats not a top, thats solid quilt.

Very very nice and because its solid quilt its worth a good bit even though its bolt on. 7-String too.

i dont know how i missed it, but i didnt even realize it was solid quilt when i bought it. you can imagine my surprise when i saw that!

supposedly its the first 7 string they ever made. i got it through a dealer that said they had to get the bridge and emg's to send to jackson, since they werent making 7's at the time.

well....its definately wide....not really any way around that. its really pretty confortable though....much better than you may imagine.

If it is anything like the profile on the other Jackson sevens I have played (three CS sevens and my Stars Soloist-7), then it is extremely comfortable. Think of the same profile as a USA Jackson, but wider.
