Question about Maple Fingerboard with Ebony Sharks

Hi there,

There's a sweet new picture of an black-bound maple fingerboard with ebony sharkfins on the Jackson site.

Can anyone tell me whether Jackson apply finish to their maple fingerboards, like Fender do, or do they leave them raw like Ibanez.

They're raw/oiled, not thick/glossy like Fender.

The USA Jacksons I have played with maple were unfinished. Far as I know thats the norm. I wasn't aware fenders were finished, I could swear I have played some maple strats that were unfinished.
