Dave - one of those FR Y2KVs is still with Mustaine and offered for sale on their website. I think the other one was sold through Andy Brauer auctions. Mustaine still has a silver FR Y2KV too but it's a later model.

I'm not sure about the Mustaine heel. It might be a little "deeper" than on a regular Rhoads for example. I didn't feel any significant difference but I'll have another look when I get home.

This guitar was part of a combined deal including trades so there was no exact price tag. Naturally it was expensive especially for someone like me who has to keep two jobs to support the family until Tiia's studies are finished and she can get a job too. Oh well - I'll just keep on driving a cheap car. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Are Y2KVs always this lightweight?
