Interesting. Same headstock break as the black WR Pro I had, and look there's a allen wrench holder on the head too.

$565 for a neckthrough USA-quality Pro is not high at all.

Not when I've seen them go for $499 at GC without breaks. Pearl white and black with severe wing tip chipping and no case though. Assholes wouldn't go lower than $469 so I walked. I wanted to give them no more than $350 for it LOL! This was Jan '05.

Well, wanting to jip Guitar Center (who most likely jipped the person they bought it from) isn't a crime, but a headstock break like that does not affect the guitar's quality - it's not by the nut like a Gibson usually breaks, so it's not going to affect tone or playability or structural integrity of the body wings or fretboard or any important aspects.
I'll bet it stayed in tune when it broke. The SD Soloist I got from Chuckracer broke by the Floyd bolts (thru-neck bolts) and it was still in tune, and the Warrior Pro was still in tune even though 70% of the head was snapped clean off.

While it may detract from the resale, this isn't real estate or stock shares.

Dowel the insides and glue it together.

Yeah these are rising in value DonP.

I took out my anger and frustration by buying a 1992 USA with case and less damage (the headstock inlay is cracked/messed up - only one tip ding however) for $750 shipped in the classifieds. I think I did a lot better than dealing with the GC fucks.

I've told this story before, but I was telling the guy he probably bought it for $250, and he (looking at his computer screen) said they paid over $400 for it. I was turning his monitor to see what he was looking at when he blanked the screen and said "that's not cool; now you get no discount". To which I replied "you are a fucking liar and a cheat - go choke on your axe".
