what year would you guys make this GTR S/N 3045 it's the blue/black crackle signed by GJ on headstock...I think poss 87/88........

it;s probably dated in the neck pocket and/or trem cavity, I'd bet somewhere around March 1988.

Yeah, they made a whole run of signed crackles around that time. I used to own one, oddly mine didn't have the signature on it, but it's possible someone had rubbed it off before I acquired it. Great guitars.

My tight firecrackle is an 88 it is 3099.

.and I've just had Charlie Chandler in the UK (guitar guru and repair god) give it the OFR (never keen on behind the nut system) new pickups the works ...can't wait to get it back
