Difference in KV2 and Soloist Necks?

Im thinking about ordering a custom rhoads and i was wondering what the difference in the necks are?

The KV2 has a thinner "speed neck" and smaller (medium jumbo) frets.

Well they could still put the extra jumbo on them if im getting it from the custom shop right?

DK necks are indeed thinner, but the import ones have a matte satin finish and the USA ones are oiled.

you might want to try the thinner wire.

i was all for wide jumbos until my red charvel was re-fretted with 6105's. honestly, i like it better and if i had the dough, they'd all sport the skinnier wire. randy r and evh seemed to prefer it also as that's what wire is on the evh model axes.

my luthier and an article or two if my memory serves me correctly stated Randy liked taller thinner frets. I could be mistaken.
