+1 Looks great - I've always been a comic-book fan & the Cap. is one of my faves. Of course, I don't lust after an RR shape guitar at all......... (I have been promised that I can get one if I get the snip though - or is that too much information?).
I don't think it ever had a famous owner. As far as I know, it was shown at NAMM, made it's way over to Europe for the Musikmesse and then went on sale. Robert Witte bought it from the store which got the show pieces, and I traded my soul for it
In case anyone cares, here's the XTRR family as it stands (2 more to come!):
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable
Worth is what someone will pay, not what you want to get

Is she going to pay for the guitar?
The guitar was painted by Dan Lawrence (of course!) and I got it in a trade from Robert Witte. I have to focus on what I got, not what I traded though....

Interesting to know. I always thought someone famous did own it, and I think someone mentioned Dan Spitz once, even though I've never seen him with that one.
I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
