First seen in 90-91 Jackson catalog this King V was purchased new by blues guitar virtuoso Jack Falk. 24 thin frets, Jackson Schaller FR, poplar body, maple neck, ebony fretboard, volume+tone, J50N and check this out - J90C + JE1000! Talk about gain.

I spent some time cleaning her and setting up with fresh strings. I must say I'm blown away by the JE1000 once again. It's so enjoyable to play as You can hear the notes clearly and it sustainssssssssssssssssss...
Wonderful singing lead sound. J90C might be a bit too much but I'll have fun with it for now.
This guitar is the oldest "non-Mustaine" 24 fret KV I can recall. The guitar has an extra cavity for the battery. I'm so happy to score a King V for a change - it is my favorite body shape.
