Well, I finally got my KE2 Kelly in silver swirl. It came a bit roughed up(barely- just one super tiny chip other than what the auction listed), but in great condition. I only got to look at it for about 10 minutes, then had to go back to school
The thing plays great, however it is way out of tune, but I can fix that later today(sort of..never had a floyd before..). Just a few small chips in the finish, which you can't see, unless if you look HARD. Nothing else I can tell you yet, until later today or tomorrow. But was well worth the $$
Only complaint is the neck heavy problem found in kellys...but its not a big issue at all.
First time playing a USA select BTW, and you can see more quality put into these guitars than the pro series, mg, etc...(the frets especially).
Also my first floyd rose equipped bridge, so any advice on tuning this monster to perfection would be appreciated. Also the floyd is nice, but it has some corrosion starting on some of the screws, but its not a big deal.
Anyway, its great, better than what I expected, and I'll post some pics today or tomorrow
Bit of a change from playing a Gibson Les Paul and a Ovation Preacher
