  • Reverse Headstock USA Selects at ER's?

Sorry if anyone already posted this, but has anyone seen the USA Selects with reverse headstocks at dreaded Ed Roman's, page 5 of Jacksons? I would never buy anything from him but what's the story on these? He has 2 WR1's, KE2, KV2, and an RR1. Are reverse headstocks officially an option on Selects for 2006?

It looks like the reverse headstocks are an option in USA series

I wouldn't believe Ed as far as I could throw him!

          Actually IMO they look photoshopped.

Looks a bit shady IMO. A lot of the other pics are of real guitars but those are face on with a white back drop so look like photoshops of some standard pics. Dont see what he would gain from doing that though...

I think they are real. I saw several USA Selects with reversed headstock recently.
Another example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7408867362 (check out the serial number)

He states this is a custom shop guitar that he had to order?

As does every single other person selling a guitar on eBay...

There's a reverse head KV2 listed at WMC too, though no pic of the headstock. Maybe some kind of small test run?

That's the reason why I wrote you should look at the serial number. Its an USA Select number

What do custom shops serial numbers look like I thought they were the same or similiar?

Custom Shop numbers would be Jxxxx or RRxxxx for neck-troughs and xxxx for bolt-ons. USA Selects are Uxxxxx for neck-throughs and 00xxxx for bolt-ons.

USA Selects have never had the reverse headstock option. The only options for these are: colour scheme, left/right-handed.
