  • My first Jackson - Made in USA!!!

Hi guys... I've just bought a 1986 Jackson Soloist! Amazing guitar! I was hoping that someone could help me find out more about this guitar. The Serial Number is J1887. It plays beautifully. I'll post better pics of "her" later on. Can anyone help?

Nice guitar for a first Jackson! how much $ was it?

Does it say made in USA or professional on headstock? Is it neck-thru?

S/N is j1887, so it is neck thru and made in USA.

Yeah, it says Made in U.S.A. - Neck Thru

I've paid £270 (US$500). The guy was desperate for money. 3 months ago he wanted £700... I'm not sure if it's worth £700, but still... I think I've got a bargain!

        I'll post better pics later.

Beautiful! Soloists are incredible players I've had three(two u.s.a's and one import) and don't think I'll get enough of playing them.

                ENJOY IT!!!

Nice grab. Does the binding cover the ends of the frets?
If this is our perdition, will you walk with me?
