I think that's Mike's (Bonghits). Looks like it since it's got reverse sharkfins and an extra inlay on the 24th fret. Nobody could agree on the specs, so Matt said a three-piece run could be done... two for Mike and one for myself. I bailed out last minute because I got stuck with a big tax bill and also wanted a Charvel Star for now instead. I may order another like it at the end of the year.

I like it. Rear loaded 24frets, so what if it´s a spitting image of Laihos guitar. There is still lot to like.

True but Alexi did the worldwide breakthru with this specs (and black with white pins) and therefore are referred everytime...I agree that some credit belongs to Roope as well because he was the first one who used yellow bevels with black RR

actually Roope is playing a custom shop ESP "star" on tour now.
there are pics of him playing it live on the current tour...
