what is the weight on the KOA?

Should be about the same weight as mahogany, since that's what it is basically (just very figured). I can vouch for it as I have a neck-through Koa guitar w/maple stringers as well.

I'm not sure exactly what the koa one weighs, but its pretty heavy. I know that the total shipping weight for it was a full 10 lbs heavier than the blood drip and you really notice it when you pick it up. Its definitely heavier than most of the mahogany guitars I've had but within the parameters of most koa guitars. Doesn't break your back though.
