Yeah, I wonder why they don't. I'd love to own an all white soloist (with white neck binding, white headstock, and black binding around the headstock). Though I've thought about going custom shop for it too...maybe someday.

i began sanding the neck on my sl2 with plans to oil it once i got all the paint off. but it was taking a long time and i decided to just smooth it out halfway through and now it has a nice satin feel to it. i never would have done it had it been my sole guitar, but i'd certainly recommend it now that i know how it feels.
