Tell me about my soloist artwork... please?

Pretty much all of the graphics are handpainted and these and yours were for sure.

my first usa jackson was a bikini beach soloist...very similar to yours...except it had a girl laying back on the beach...as far as i know yes they were all airbrushed differently...some had minor details different while some, like yours, actually just had the surf and no beach...have seen some with dolphins as well...make sure you keep the neck lemon oiled and that guitar should last you as long as you wish it to...yeah i had inside info...used to know someone who worked at jackson in the mid 90's and she would send me catalogs and answer questions for me...i imagine others here used to talk to sandy as well tho...although i could be wrong...d.m.

mm2002, I have to agree. I didn't really want a guitar with artwork on, but it was a good price, significantly better than any other USA Jackson so I had to have it. I got it on ebay, but the seller hadn't included the word Jackson in the title so hardly anyone had looked at it. I came across it by chance, searching 'Fender USA'. He'd listed it in the Jackson section described as 'USA Soloist, custom graphic pre Fender'. Lucky for me that I search all kinds of stuff when I'm looking. I guess most people searching USA Fender wouldn't suddenly decide to buy a Jackson???

This is my 3rd, but also my only one at present.
My 1st was a JSX94 from their Japanese Concept range in 1994.
My 2nd was a similar aged Stealth EX.
My 3rd - well this one's the best of them all!

My trouble is, I love buying and trying loads of different guitars, but with limited space and budget I always have to sell one to buy one. I keep 3 electrics; 1 for home practise and 2 for gigging. Currently these are:
Ibanez RG570 (home use)
Jackson Soloist (as seen in this thread)
Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro (simply awesome!)
