  • Beware of buying from the Online Jackson Shop

Not that big of a deal but just to let you know I recently bought a Jackson Shirt from the Fender online store (linked at the Jackson site).

It was the devil girl shirt pictured with the Roads and at the bottom it is says Jackson The Original Sin. The shirt I recieved did not say "The Original Sin" as pictured. Not a huge deal but to be honest that was one of the things I really liked about the shirt. I emailed them (see below) and got a really lame excuse and no offer of any kind to make it right. Nice customer service. Just thought I would let everyone know how lame they were in dealing with this, reply below from Fender/Jackson.

They should atleast offer you a refund or exchange!
Credit for the friendly reply. Most online companies wont even give you that these days.

Not really the point, yes I know I could return it, but its not worth the hassle, they should have offered to make it right in some way and I also wanted to let others know in case they order the same shirt. Going thru the the whole RA process and shipping it back ect, for a $20 shirt isnt worth it to me.

Make it right? It's not like they can shit you a shirt they don't have.

Return it and get your money back if your unhappy. Otherwise you have nothing to complain about.

They could have offered to take it back (and pay the shipping) but they did not, and also they could have offered to give me another item for free or something like that to make up for the hassle of having to send back a shirt that was not as pictured on the site.

It would be the same as if you ordered a Jenna Glass and instead of Jenna you got Dr Phil on the glass and they said oh sometimes we picture items not as they are sorry about that but enjoy your Jackson Dr. Phil glass. Yeah your right its no big deal, its just a shirt, but I can't see how you can defend them, also the second part of the post was so others did not buy the same shirt thinking they would get it as pictured.

Disagree. It wasn't as advertised. BTW the ad has not been corrected:

I can send you a bottle of White Out and maybe someone can cut out "The Original Sin" in construction paper for you to use as a stencil.

I'm surprised nobody pointed out "Roads" yet. And the fact that the shirt has a KV instead of an RR.
