Fender should have offered to pay for shipping on the return. The product was not as depicted in the catalog. There should be no cost to the buyer. Remember the saying; "the customer is always right". And yes, within reason.

Seriously guys as much as I love Jackson guitars their customer service is shitty. When you buy a custom guitar and they finally send to you after 12 months and it is fucked up they take another 6 months at least to fix it and send it back. Now if I just dropped the insane amount of cash they ask and it wasn't perfect bet your ass I am not waiting another 6 months to get the fucker back!I would so snatch that up it if were 24 frets
I'm out like Axl Rose just before a GNR concert

Originally posted by levantinSo basically, this means that when you order a t-shirt and recieve a plastic turd, Fender aint responsible, even though they shipped it. That sounds like a great basis for great customer service.
The disclaimer is to cover small variances like... 3 missing words on a shirt. If you order shirt X and you get shirt Y, then you have a legitimate beef. But a slight variance between shirts isn't something to get your Vickies twisted over.Last edited by Tekky; 06-07-2006, 08:45 AM.Occupy JCF

There is no turd involved here.
