Well, if the plate on the Jackson bolt on is over #1500...it's more of an early Ontario era guitar, as oppposed to "late SD". They had moved by then, and were using up the SD addressed plates for a while.

This is a tought one actually. I have a bunch of bolt on strat types at the moment as I have been on a charvie kick for a while, so unless the strat has a sick finish or graphic I would go for the soloist personally I guess.
