Ordered A New SL-1....Now The Long Wait...

Rick at the Guitar Hanger in CT ordered it on the phone from the Regional Rep in front of me. Rick asked what the lead time was and was told 4 months. The Guitar Hanger recently got the line and Rick is a long time friend- thought I'd help him out-even though it's just a one piece order.

I don't know if that's an accurate lead time, but that's what we were told.

I ordered a Custom Shop Gibson Flying V with abalone block inlays and ebony board in Creme white a few years ago and it took about 6 months to get. Gawd, I hate to wait!

Congrats on your order! I would like a Yellow Bengal of some sort but would probably go with it on a DK-1. I like neckthrus with H/H setups, so that eliminates the SL1. And I don't like the thicker necks on the SL2Hs or the JB pickup. With a DK-1 you have the thinner neck and EMGs, but bolt-on, plus it's a few hundred cheaper. Just my $.02!
