Either that or it originally didn't have the pickguard?

The headstock is black with some pearl flake in it, and the logo looks WAY better in person, as does the guitar. I feel lucky to own it. The lead pickup has a built in "wah" tone which sounds KILLER. Plays unreal. Super low action, ebony board feels super nice, frets are the smaller size and feel GREAT. I actually prefer the Kahler with the Floyd nut combo, it's perfect.

Mike Shannon built it in 1992 for a close friend. No serial # anywhere. Think he'd confirm building it? Anyone have his e-mail?

I thought of that already and that's why I mentioned the unused screw holes. If you look closely, those holes for the neck pickup ring never had screws installed.

                  See what I mean?

But Dave, the one south-east screw hole (where the wires exit) for the bridge pup doesn't look used either, but has for shure had a screw in it

LOL Dave, I was going to concede and agree with you, but now that Henrik chimed in, I'm not so sure!

Doug, this is very very important. I cannot stress this enough. We're talking screw holes here! I can't sleep before i know if there has been a screw in that hole!
