Were the King V's originally designed for Dave Mustaine in the '80s? I always thought they were for Robbin Crosby from Ratt

The King V was actually originally designed for Dave Linsk (Overkill), but Robbin saw one at the factory and liked it...his nickname was King so it was named for him (used to be called Double Rhoads). When Mustaine started using em around 86/87, they were made a bit smaller.

haha thats me! Thats pretty sweet though, do they still make them the same size as the original? I really wish they would/could reissue Robbin's Firebird. That was a sweet guitar
