The Goldtop is so horny! I hope it's got its cavity covers on...:p

The white Charvie is definitly my fav besides that, that thing just breathes class!
You took too much, man. Too much. Too much.

Nooooo - more GAS - the EVH, in the best colour scheme! The rest of the collection is pretty cool too. Nice!

Cool stuff: I've been hankering after a gold-top, retro bullseye and b/y EVH for a while now! That archtop does look especially nice as well.....

As for 'competing with' me, there are far cooler collections out their than mine, but thanks for the complement!
Popular is not the same as good
Rare is not the same as valuable

I'm selling my goldtop to help pay for the archtop. I have it on EBAY right now. The thing is, I knew I would have to part with it, but I HAD to have the archtop. The Carvin is going out too but that's because I need to make some space for one more.

Maybe there will be another LP Goldie in my future. Mine's a 2004, and quite frankly I'm surprised people are bidding it up when new ones can be bought for a few hundred more. It must mean the reputation of the new ones is suffering a bit.

White pickups and gold hardware look very classy and unique. Nice CS Soloist with a single humbucker - me like it!

Is that Jackson burst the Pablo Spruce top? They all look great
Tone is like Art: Your opinion is valid. Listen, learn, have fun, draw your own conclusions.

Yep, that's the Pablo Spruce. And I think that's the official name for it now. Maybe Bearclaw Koa too.

The thing has the best range of any guitar I've ever had. It can be bright, so I've been dialing down the treble a little bit. But when I'm playing rhythm the brightness and treble helps, you can hear every string cleanly. I'm using my footboard to switch to a lower treble setting when I go to the lead.
