I would guess it's the "whiskey" colored tint in the transparent finish. It definitely does look 70's grass roots custom guitar era.

That solid quilt is amazing....unfortunately it has 1 too many Hums and waaaaayyyyyyy too many knobs. That axe should be as simple as possible to show off that amazing wood!!!

A very cool custom piece IMO, probably my favorite of the NAMM summer pieces actually. Someone is gonna love it. I even dig the color combination.
