CS idea: maple and korina

I am gasing for a korina kv2 badly so I am thinking about a CS order.
I don't know when I will put the trigger, though.
so I am thinking maple board on korina body and neck with all natural finish, but don't know about binding and inlays. gold hardware and zebra pickups.
I will definitely get the sharkies because I think they look the best on a pointy guitar. but black binding and sharkies don't look very good on a maple board from what I see on DK2M. what options do they have for inlay and binding materials?
any suggestion?

I still say go with Black binding.

You'll already have zero to no contrast going on there, it's all yellowy and bright coloured. From what I'm seen Black binding goes well with both the maple fretboard and the korina body, which has a blackish hue and really accepts black binding well, in a visual regard.

Anyways, I think the sky is the limit there, if you pay for it, you can have it.

Looks good, not my bag of oranges though. If it's your dream axe, go for it, by all means! Id just have Black binding and hardware on there as a starters (for me personally) :p

What's up with the green inlays on that mockup? Now that's just about as fucking ugly as anything I can imagine.

I was trying to get a solid color that looks like abalone
I guess black binding looks fine but black sharkies definitely don't, to my eyes at least.
is there a picture of abalone inlays on maple board?

That looks cool, but without the green, abalone will look killer.

I don't think using gold hardware is a good idea. It's nothing but yellow... I'd go with black hardware, abalone logo and abalone inlays, that would look killer!
