After what seems like forever I am finally re-joining the USA Jackson family thanks to Inearthed and the 1997 SLS I purchased from him. I will post pics this weekend once my 5150 gets here.
I played a newer SLS and I hated the neck but after a few pm's and some comparisions, it sounded like this axe might work out pretty well for me. The neck is slightly different than a modern day SLS. I like the sound/feel of rosewood better than ebony and the neck seems pretty nice so far.
Question for yas... It currently has Dimarzio Super Distortion and PAF Pro pickups in it. Were these stock back then? Also what kind of wood is the body? I am assuming it is an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fretboard.
Heres to being a part of the greatest guitar family in the world!
