You guys are stealing my thoughts! LOL. I came up with this over a year ago - similiar idea to yours but with green bevels. As I was working it up in the generator, I added the green logo and decided to go with green inlays too. If you're not sure about blue, maybe try green:
Thanks for the ideas guys. I think the blue logo, and blue inlays is too much blue. I am also a big fan of the inlayed logo, so if I don't get MOP inlays with an MOP logo maybe I will go Abalone. But the greenish tint might look funny. I think the black with blue bevels definitly won, now that I think about it I do really love the contrast. Unlike the one with gold pins and gold bevels they don't really compliment the black or stand out. I checked out the Iommi inlays and I am not really a big fan of them altough they are very cool I just dont think they are for me. Although I do know a dude who does shark inlays...
That was what I thought until I saw some pics from a Finnish guitar company that makes a Rhoads just like the one I posted with blue bevels and blue pins. I was so not happy. I am nowhere near getting it either, I just want to know what I want when the time comes...Within a year of two.
What do you guys think about these inlays? I think I have found the missing piece of the puzzle:
Scythe inlays seem kind of fanboyish, but I still like them. Those ones look better than the ones on the Alexi ESP since the ESP ones are too thin. Personally, I think sharkfins are the coolest standard inlays of any guitar company and really compliment any Jackson, so I'd get it with them (which I did), but the scythes would look cool and make it more customized to your taste.
If you're flammable and have legs, you are never blocking a fire exit. Unless you are a table.

I agree about the sharkfins. The cool thing I think about the scythe inlays is that Alexi is the only other dude I saw who had them until I saw the Deathangel I took that pic from. And if it wasn't for those scythes I would totally go sharkfin and I still might but right now I am leaning toward the cooler (at least than Alexi's) looking scythes. I figure they will go with my reaper tattoo that I am getting once I design it and can afford it.
