Damn, that is a long time! They need to focus more on doing customs for individuals than customs to hang on walls at music stores.

Sounds like the Fender rep is behind the times quite a bit. The J/C custom shop is already in the same facility as the Fender CS. That happened when they moved from Ontario to Corona, a couple of years ago.

From what I know, there's the plan to combine Jackson CS and Fender CS in one versalite CS unit. Of course Jackson guys will be focused on Jackson and Fender guys on Fender, but there will be more oportunities to utilize the skills of both CS's
