Just listen to just about any Def Leppard song made since 1995.
That's when Phil started using a sustainer regularly.

Agreed. One thing that I remember off hand is the outgoing solo at the end of "Promises". You can hear it on harmoic sustain as the song is about to fade out.

About your pic rjohnstone... Phil must really like that particular Red Rum. I say that becasue you would think he would have switched to all Strat head PC1s by now.

He also uses an original (no tone knob) Euphoria PC1 as well.

I took this last night at the show here in Phx.
And yea... it kicked major ass. My wife and I had a blast.
Although the margarita bar needed some help, they tasted like shit.

I was trying to hook up with John prior to the show, but it was sort of a last minute thing.
And yea... the place was packed and the show kicked major ass!.
I have plenty more pics... and these were taken with our crappy camera.
They wouldn't let me bring in the good one.

Here's Phil playing his Euphoria PC1

            Another shot of Redrum.

Purple Daze here...can't see it clearly in this pic.

And that was taken with a crappy camera? What do you call crappy? These pics are great!

My crappy camera... Canon Power Shot S410, 4 Megapixel

                My nice camera:
Canon digital Rebel XT, 8 Megapixel
Canon 28-135 lens w/built-in image stabalizer (gold stripe, not the crappy plastic lenses).
And a Canon Speedlite 420EX flash.

Yeah you see that's the difference.

Your "crappy" camera = really nice stuff

Your "nice" camera = professional photographer stuff

Whereas my "crappy" camera = disposable one use camera from Wal-Mart.

Anyways my point is your crappy camera takes better pics than my nice one. And since you're the one who got concert pics, everybody wins.

So how did you get that camera in but not the other one?

Cameras were allowed, just not "pro" cameras.

The sustainer on the PC1 that I had held the notes indefinitely; sounds like something may be funky with yours. I assume you have checked the batteries, or maybe you lowered the sustainer a little too far.

...Glad to hear you got it sorted, Bryan. I'll be joining the sustainer club here shortly.
